Inside Bloom House Store & Cafe

Our adorable and cozy cafe offers many options for guest and retreat use, as well as providing a welcoming place to visit for locals. Intimate seating, books, games, and a small store with locally made items and fun accessories and necessities for your stay. On the kitchen side you will find coffee, tea, hot cocoa, pastries, an oatmeal bar, popcorn, shaved ice, and free range eggs for purchase. If you have booked the entire property for a retreat, wedding, or other event your caterer or chef can use the kitchen space, equipped with dishware and utensils for up to eight people, mixing bowls, measuring spoons and cups, strainer, knives, miscellaneous utensils, can opener, and wine bottle opener, a stovetop, and oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with a small freezer, a coffee pot, pots and pans, dish rack, soap, sponges, dish towels, rags, and cleaning supplies under the sink.

Your caterer or chef will want to bring any other kitchen implements they need for food prep. You will also need to bring enough dishware and utensils, serving platters, bowls, etc.

There are also multiple restaurants and caterers in the area I can connect you with if you don't have your own since we do not provide in-house catering. If you want to use the food and drinks already provided we can discuss a discounted price for your group during your stay.

The sitting area can be used for classes, sessions, meditation, yoga, or anything else you would like during your retreat or event.

There are several options for bathroom facilities. The bathroom in Bloom House Cafe has a toilet, sink, and shower ($2.00 for 20 minutes). The outdoor bathroom building is located centrally to the lodgings with a hot water shower, foot pump sink, and pump flush toilet. There is also a porta-potty located near the solar panels in case the other bathrooms are in use. In addition, there is a "Recreation Room" inside the cafe space where guests can watch a movie or play any one of the board games or puzzles we provide, or the space can be used for private healing sessions, massages, a changing room, or anything else you might need for your retreat or event guests.
Another recent addition is the 10 foot wood-fired sauna, perfect for relaxing the muscles after a full day of hiking or other activities. Inquire for pricing if you want to add it as an amenity for your guests.

On the property is a small trail network, perfect for walking mediations, resting, and exploring.
There is also a fairy garden and a small play area for children. The goat pen is home to our three very sweet and friendly Nigerian Dwarf Goats, two ducks, and three chickens (with another group of chickens that free-range around the property). Goat therapy sessions can be added to your package for your guests or they can add it individually. Wildlife is abundant on the property as well as butterflies, moths, and pollinators who are attracted to all the native flowers that grow wild all over.
